Alina O’Dwyer is an international contemporary artist, based in Prague. Alina is a former professional clinical psychologist, and she has changed careers to become a renowned contemporary artist. Her art primarily focuses on reflecting the external world conveyed by various characters on canvas. Her paintings showcase interesting combinations of colours and shapes combinations, which result in a unique representation of the human nature. The main character of her work is the Woman. She is talking about women’s rights and gender equality through her art works. Her female characters are not impersonating just a Woman, but a strong Personality who is ready to stand for herself and for the people she loves. Alina has studied art in a private art studio in Prague with a focus on contemporary painting and academic drawing. She also holds a degree in art & Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art in London. Alina’s work has been exhibited Worldwide and her art pieces have been acquired in private collections in Europe, North and South America, The Middle East and Russia.
